2/3 It is the time of year when the Monarch butterflies come back to the eucalyptus grove at Natural Bridges State Park.

3/3 In the afternoon we leave Santa Cruz for Rio Del Mar.

At Seacliff State beach, an old concrete boat is stranded near the shore. Broken in multiple parts, the boat has become a meeting point for seagulls and pelicans, neatly aligned on the railing.
